The latest documented public update series is 12026.a3 from January 2026. The major content foundation came from the July 2025 update and October 2025 Dediscovery update, followed by full X-input controller support in November 2025.

Current highlights include:

  • Character level cap of 32.
  • Five playable races and three core classes.
  • Work-in-progress Paladin, Bishop and Magus subclasses at level 28.
  • Mining and Fishing professions with a level cap of 10.
  • Ten weapon families, including Bows, Bells, Greatblades and Shotguns.
  • Singleplayer, online co-op, lobbies with up to 16 players, four-player dungeon parties and PvP arenas.
  • Native X-input gamepad support and Steam Deck Playable status.

Is ATLYSS Dead?

No. ATLYSS has a smaller concurrent population than its November 2024 launch peak, which is normal for an Early Access game, but it still has active players, official announcements, a modding community and overwhelmingly positive Steam reviews. Use the live SteamDB chart instead of relying on an old screenshot. The recorded all-time concurrent peak is 10,803.

Price and Legitimate Download

The standard US Steam price is $9.99, with regional pricing and occasional discounts. The historical low recorded by SteamDB is $4.99. Prices can change by region or sale, so check the official Steam store or live price history.

ATLYSS is not a free-to-play game. “Free download,” Steam key generators, Steamrip and similar unofficial download queries carry malware and copyright risks; this site does not provide pirated copies.

Singleplayer and Multiplayer

Singleplayer works without an internet connection after Steam setup. Multiplayer is optional. In online lobbies, the Who menu opens with O, parties can contain up to four players, and dungeon instances follow the party leader.

Press Enter to open the chat box. Current versions use a Zone channel for players in the same map instance. PvP can be toggled with its configured input (default V) when the current area permits it. Arena zones are multiplayer-only.
